Developed by the University of Adelaide, My Wine World serves as an educational tool primarily designed for students studying winemaking and wine marketing. Its aim is to facilitate objective training in assessing wine appearance, aroma, taste, and mouthfeel.

Nevertheless, the utility of the app extends beyond academic use. It is accessible to anyone with an interest in wine.

My Wine World enables users to document their tasting experiences by recording notes, assigning quality ratings, and capturing photographs of wine labels—both front and back—thus providing a comprehensive log of their favorite wines. Additionally, the app offers options for sharing recommendations with friends via social media platforms.
